Bonner County, ID

Sandpoint sessions are held at Panhandle Animal Shelter in Ponderay, Idaho and sometimes at LPO High School. The dogs involved in Pawsitive Works are available for adoption. We just ask that they are allowed to complete their youth service program prior to going home with their forever families. We invite adoptive families to participate in our graduation ceremonies held at the end of every session.

We currently have a 95% adoption rate for all dogs involved in the program.  Stay tuned for pictures of our next available well-trained companions!

How are Dogs Selected?
All dogs are temperamentally assessed to ensure sociability and low or no reactivity. We want to help the dogs that can benefit from the training and the extra love and attention while ensuring that both youth and dogs are safe.
